Parentline Plus at www.parentlineplus.org.uk is a national charity that offers help for parents. There is a free, 24-hour telephone helpline on 0808 800 2222, or you can email a query via the website.
YoungMinds offers a free telephone helpline which provides information and advice for anyone with concerns about the mental health of a child or young person on 0800 018 2138.
Gingerbread offers advice to lone parents on childcare, contact, divorce, lone parenthood, benefits, C.S.A, employment, housing, and maternity rights. They can be contacted via their web-site on www.gingerbread.org.uk/index.htm
